The Chapel on Station Gallery creatively encourages us to expand our horizons and appreciate the world through the visual arts.
The gallery began in 2005 with a view to creating a space for artists to invite people to ‘wonder’. Providing a hospitable, professional and affordable space for artists to exhibit, both enriches our experience of art and creativity, and offers us an opportunity to engage in the wider community of the creative arts. With a conviction that art is a significant carrier of meaning, we seek to encourage artists in their creative endeavours, and offer a safe environment for them to share their view of the world.
The Gallery is staffed by volunteers from both the church and wider community, and has established a significant place in the art community. The Gallery supports a range of activities to encourage artists, like offering an Annual Religious Art Prize, and offering regular Art Workshops.
