Welcome to Worship
This Sunday, 5 October at 10am
This Sunday, and as October marks the beginning of the Whitehorse Seniors Festival, Dr Bruce Rumbold shares with us on ‘The Maturing of Faith’ – What are the resources that we bring to ageing? Have we sufficiently developed these throughout our lives? Join with us as we explore the ageing process a bit more – something relevant to all of us, young and old!
We also gather around the table to share in Communion, and bring our contributions of non-perishable goods for sharing with the community through Box Hill Community Information and Support.

Community News
+ Our Community Shed is looking forward to working with Whitehorse Council during Seniors Festival in October, as we bring a free series of 4 sessions to help you (or someone you love) to positively respond to the process of ageing and make the right decisions for their wellbeing.
The events will feature our own Dr Bruce Rumbold, who has many years of experience around ageing and palliative care, and are brought to you with the collaboration of the Box Hill Community Shed (an inclusive Men’s Shed located at the Box Hill Community Arts Centre), and the Shed will be open during and after these sessions for anyone who is interested in finding out more or joining.
Sign up for the sessions at https://www.trybooking.com/events/landing/1444849

+ If English isn’t your first language, don’t forget that we now translate our Sunday services into a huge range of languages through our new Breeze translate app. We also now have a number of spare mobile devices with the app ready to go, which you can borrow for the service.

We are putting together the next Roster for all of the things that happen in and around our worship services. We’d love to have some new names and faces helping out, so please speak to Michelle if you think you can help with one (or more!) things.
