Our community joins together in worship on Sundays at 10am at the corner of Station St & Ellingworth Parade, Box Hill.
We share in songs, prayers and opportunities for learning and reflection. Services are also livestreamed on our YouTube channel – where you can either take part live on Sunday mornings, or browse past services.
At Box Hill Baptist worship is grounded in both the biblical and historical traditions of the church, and our lived experiences, making it meaningful and accessible for everyone. We place an importance on creativity and nurturing imagination, as well as asking challenging questions of ourselves and of God.
Our worship is welcoming and inclusive of all, regardless of culture, background, ability, gender or sexuality. We invite you to bring every aspect of your life with you to worship, not leave it at the door.
You will experience language & symbols that are inclusive & varied, and speak poetically, rather than dogmatically. We do our best to avoid jargon or language that excludes people.
Our worship is formed by our understanding of God rather than technology or fashion or personality, & is therefore ever-changing. So we welcome you to come back next week and see what else is in store!
Box Hill Baptist also hosts two bi-lingual church communities which worship here on Sunday afternoons: Earthen Vessels (Vietnamese & English service) and Bethel Chinese Fellowship (Mandarin service).
