Rev. Geoff Pound
Pastor
Geoff is married to Lyn and together they have two married children and three granddaughters. Geoff serves as Pastor at Box Hill after pastoring in West Melbourne and Ashburton.
In a former life, Geoff worked for the Baptist Union as leader of Mission to Victoria and Director of Leadership Training. He lectured at Whitley College and served as its Principal. While living in the UAE he established Theologians Without Borders.
Geoff loves walking (especially long-distance Caminos), travelling, reading, writing and watching movies.
Eddie Chapman
Executive Pastor
Often considering himself an ‘accidental pastor’, Eddie has spent over 20 years working with society’s most vulnerable through a range of not-for-profit and church-based agencies in Victoria.
With a passion for inclusion and community development, Eddie coordinates the church’s community programs and explores new ways that we can bring the love of God to the community, including through partnering with other churches and organisations.
Eddie also facilitates the range of Box Hill Baptist’s worship activities, ensuring it is thoughtful, inclusive and reflects the diversity of our community.
More than anything, he enjoys the variety that comes with being the go-to ‘dogsbody’ in such a dynamic community.
