Dust to Dawn: Walking into Easter

Jesus walked…

He walked somewhere between 15,000 and 35,000kms during his life, as he journeyed around Galilee and beyond, sharing his message of hope, healing and justice.

As we reflect on his life during the journey to Easter, we too, will be walking!

As we head towards Easter, our Sunday services will be focused on the theme of “walking”. And then from the 22nd of February we’ll be sharing a series of weekend walks — some short and local, some longer and more challenging — shaped around themes of journey, pilgrimage, reflection, and hope. Each walk will stand on its own, but together they’ll trace a path from dust to dawn, from the beginnings of Lent to the light of Easter.

You don’t need to be a seasoned walker.

You don’t need to come to every walk.

You don’t even need to be sure what you believe.

Just come as you are, walk at your own pace, see who you meet and what emerges along the way.

If this sounds like something your body, heart, or soul could use — keep an eye out, or invite a friend to walk with you.
